The excuse that vitamin supplements are only for the very young and very old lacks also some validity. It is true that the importance of people who are in a change stage of their lives like childhood, adolescence and the senior years must pay attention to their vitamin levels or at least have someone paying attention for them. In fact, specific vitamin supplements are especially designed for these stages of life because the demand is greater and there are some vitamins that are crucial for health during those transition periods.
Nevertheless, keeping a minimum level of vitamin in your diet every day is important for every living thing. Even if you are currently in a stage of your life in which you are not going through a lot of physical changes, your body still has to face some challenges to keep you healthy and productive. To help your body to fight disease and to assure you will be vital to perform your duties, it is literally the least thing you can do by taking one multivitamin a day. Do it for you or do it for your loved ones as long as you do it.
